Robert von Dassanowsky

Robert von Dassanowsky is Associate Professor of German and Director of Film Studies at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. A founder of the Austrian American Film Association, he serves as editorial advisor to the International Dictionary of Films and Filmmakers and on the boards of The International Experimental Cinema Exposition and the Denver British Film Festival. His book Austrian Cinema: A History 1896-2003, the first English-language survey of that nation's film art and industry, was published in 2005 by McFarland.
